How to Use Respirators

Put the mask on

Hold the respirator vertically and pull it open widely with nosepiece on top. Press the respirator against your face with the nose clip on the bridge of your nose, ensuring it completely covers nose and chin.

Adjust the ear straps

Pull the ear straps behind both ears. Use the strap tubes to adjust the ear straps for a tight fit.

Mold the nose clip

Use fingers of both hands, starting at the middle of the nose clip, to press and mold the nose clip along your nose to achieve a secure seal.

Fit testing

To test fit, cup both hands over the respirator and exhale vigorously. If air leaks from the nose, remold nosepiece, if air leaks from the sides of the respirator, adjust straps until if fits properly.
